Mylo is a plaything that channels Fringe’s fascination with objects of affection, and how inanimate friends like cartoon characters or toys, start to abide by the same rules as the living. MyLo is a type of futuristic teddy bear that echoes Fringe’s feelings about love and rejection. It could be mass produced, or it could be a homemade toy that’s come alive. Either way, it provides the voice and face of the artist who refuses to be seen or heard.
