Interplanetary Jazz

When the aliens make contact I’ll be rooting for humanity, and not the other side. One hopes it won’t be an either/or situation, but if it is I want to embrace the change, without giving up on my life.

News is that ufologists (folks who study UFOs) say it’s just a matter of time before the aliens come forward. And one hopes that Google Translate will be available to give us a nuanced version of alien words. Otherwise what’s the point of human evolution. 

I’m not expecting a parade of alien supermodels. And I guess they aren’t either.

In the queue at Home Affairs everyone looks exhausted. These are people who need passports to travel on this planet only. So you can imagine how complex the visa requirements are going to be when creatures start arriving from other worlds. Home Affairs is just not going to cope.

My new exhibition in Germany is called Possible Worlds. There are millions of those, and in our hearts I’m damn sure we hope and pray that they will be something like ours. Pictures mirror the possibilities. And the possibilities mirror the craving in our hearts.
